March?!

We are in March already?! Wow, where does time go? I hope life in your corner of the world is going well. We are doing really well. Busy, but well. Sickness has been all around and many people are have having a tough time. We are thankful to be healthy.
There is much to share so I will break it down into bits...
Joshua is loving Boy Scouts! Here he is in his uniform. Greg is loving it just as much.
Church is going really well. The little girl from a previous post is now home and doing amazingly well. Even the doctors said her case had divine intervention! We are half way through our 6 weeks of small groups and God is moving in so many ways. We have really enjoyed the opportunity to connect with new people. We have made new friends, that is really cool and an answer to prayer. Have you ever been part of a church or mission experience where you just knew God had something big in store but you just didn't know what or how it would be? I liken it to being on the top of a roller coaster, you know you will be okay but in the mean time you may lose your guts, lol! It is a good kind of anxiety. Yet there is a small amount of worry in wanting to know what God will require of you in the process. Again, you know in the end you will be okay but... It's a good place to be, I think ;).
God has blessed the socks off my business this past month! I have met lots of new people and have a new person on my team. I finished teaching a round of classes at a local recreation center and it went really well. They have invited me to do more. I actually made money this month! I am thrilled to be able to set aside some money to go towards our new kitchen.
Yes, the kitchen remodel is still on the list. We have been slowly getting our ducks in a row. Greg and I met with a different kitchen place on Friday. We were able to make a few changes to the design and bring down the cost of the cabinets. Our new friends built their own home 3 years ago and have offered to help with the project. He knows how to install cabinets, saving us money on installation. Mom and Dad are helping and folks from church are ready to wield a hammer. God is making an ant hill out of a mountain! I don't think I shared this before, but at Christmas the pastor's wife gave me a gift. The gift was wrapped in a dish towel that had a verse printed on it. It was Hebrews 11:1 "Faith is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see." Inside was a bottle of Electrosol dishwasher detergent. Remember now, we do not have a dishwasher, that is part of the future kitchen. She attached a note which said that God had told her to give me this gift, that it didn't make sense to her but she was being obedient. This kitchen has become a matter of faith. Everytime my faith gets cloudy, I look at that bottle of Electrosol. Now I see that the construction of the kitchen is going to be a community building endeavor. All part of God's master plan, I am sure!
Gosh, I wish I drank coffee and that I could sit in a coffee shop and talk with you all. There is so much to share and as great a tool as this blog is, it can't communicate everything in my heart or on my mind! Hugs to you all!

You may not like coffee but you make a mean Jitters freeze. I am so glad to hear that God is working and providing for you all. We miss you!
